Services
Screening Assessment - ages 6 to 9 years 3 months
2 hours £200*
Recommended for children who are ages 6 to 9 years 3 months who are not able to read connected text. The screening assessment will look at vocabulary knowledge, ability to recognise letters and correctly spelled words, basic word-reading skills, knowledge of sounds letter correspondences, rhyming skills, phonological processing fluency, letter and sight word recognition and phonological awareness skills. This early identification screening will only signpost if the individual has dyslexia traits, but it is not a full diagnosis. In order to give a formal dyslexia diagnosis, I need to complete all the assessments as per SASC guidelines. A written summary in PDF format will be provided within 2 weeks.
Full Assessment - Children 8-15
3-4 hours £495*
The assessment will provide either a positive or negative dyslexia diagnosis, but most importantly you will be able to use it to provide evidence for support in schools/universities. If the result is positive you can use it as evidence for applying for Disabled Student Allowance (DSA). A 1-1 informal feedback session will be arranged with parents to discuss key findings and next steps. A Full Written Report and Recommendations will be sent as a PDF within 4 weeks of the assessment date.
Full Assessment - 16-18 years old
